Phil Ivey has been referred to as the greatest poker player on the planet by quite a few of the top pros. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and moved to New Jersey before reaching turning 1. His grandpa taught Phil penny-ante 5-Card Stud poker. From then on on, Phil was addicted to poker and wanted to learn anything he could about poker. Phil routinely told his parents that he was going to be a professional poker player. He made a decision to take his skills to the next level and headed out west to Sin City. He continues to compete in in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the greatest players on the planet. Phil credits his achievements to hard work and an immeasurable passion for poker. He states that he is learning every single day and is incredibly abashed about his accomplishments. Phil admits to making mistakes in each session of poker and always aspires to get better.

Despite the fact that Phil has won some big tournaments, he favors winning money games on a normal basis.
